Rhett Richardson, O.D.

Dr. Richardson was born in Barnwell, S.C., and graduated from Barnwell High School in 1976. He attended the University of South Carolina and Southern College of Optometry, where he obtained his Bachelor of Science degree and Doctorate of Optometry. He is board certified and licensed in the diagnosis and treatment of eye diseases. Dr. Richardson is a member of the South Carolina Optomertic Physicians Association and American Optometric Association, he has practiced optometry in Aiken for the past 32 years.

Christopher Ryan Cutright, O.D.

Dr. Cutright is licensed to practice diagnostic and therapeutic optometry in South Carolina, Georgia and Tennessee. He graduated cum laude with a bachelor’s degree in biology from West Virginia University in 1998. He graduated with a Doctor of Optometry degree from the Southern College of Optometry in 2002. He practiced in Memphis, Tenn., with a private-practice group from June of 2002 to June of 2003. Dr. Cutright, a member of the American Optometric Association since 2001, has been practicing at Spec’s Vision Center of Aiken since July of 2003. He provides primary care optometry, including treatment and management of ocular diseases, and fittings of conventional, disposable and specialty contact lenses.

Miles Scruggs, O.D.

Dr. Scruggs graduated Clemson University in 1979 where his honors include who’s who among College and University students, Tiger Brotherhood Honor Society, Sigma Nu Fraternity, Central Spirit, and Vice President of the Interfraternity Council. He graduated Southern College of Optometry in 1983. He is licensed in Louisiana and South Carolina. He is also certified in Therapeutic medicine in 1986. His post graduate training includes Certification in Therapeutic Drugs from the Pennsylvania College of Optometry. He has been in Vision Plaza in New Orleans for 17 years. He had a private practice in Boutte, LA for 5 years. Dr. Scruggs started practicing at Spec’s Vision Center beginning in 2009. He is affiliated with the International Academy of Sports Vision and the American Society of Optometric Physicians.
